w00t! I do 100% of my file transfers between servers (including watching streaming video) using SSH. This would be a big improvement for me.

I guess ubuntu should be in the list too … http://ubuntu.com/ … I used to be a kubuntu user till its instability on my notebook made me to switch to ubuntu & GNOME.

A nice Live edition is another Debian based distro: http://www.knoppix.org/

PS: FreeBSD, Solaris != Linux as they run on a different kernel. Freespire/Linspire are ubuntu based distros (previously Debian based distros).

Yeah I used to run F@H but it wouldn’t let me PC wake up from the screen saver mode. I just recently bought a PS3, I haven’t put F@H on it yet, I’m thinking about it. My meager folding profile is here.

PS3 is by far the star of F@H. Too bad that a WU is annoyingly slow on a PC CPU. For example my dual-core takes a lot of time and the agent is pretty unstable (*cough, hint* BOINC + WCG for PC/Mac *cough*) … Anyway, the agent runs on GPUs too. For example a ATi X1900XT has more raw power than the Cell CPU which is within PS3.

For a home based distributed computing, the processing power is great. From the raw power point of view, soon IBM is going to pwn with BlueGene/P which has a sustained power of 1PetaFlop/s and it can be scaled up to 3PetaFlop/s.

I thought I’d let you know that this theme is not cross-browser compatible. Displays fine in Firefox, but definitely has issues in IE 7.

Hi there,

I love the design of this theme, but since I need a 3-column theme, I’ve been seriously mucking about with it, and I’m ALMOST done except for one issue:

I’ve removed .navigation from the top and this seems to have thrown the calender out of whack in IE, though Firefox still displays it fine. My knowledge of CSS(link)/HTML is abysmal and hence I was wondering whether you could offer any help?
